From Childhood Dreams to Cape Town Creations
Hello, I'm Anna-Tina—the dreamer, creator, and maker behind ANNA-TINA ORIGINAL. My story is one stitched together across continents, beginning with a childhood love for fabric.
As a girl, I taught myself to sew, spending hours realizing my first creations. This passion led me to Paris, where I studied fashion design and started my professional career. A dream of mine had come true: I was living, working, and breathing the fashion of 90s Paris.
My search for new adventures, and the longing for being closer to nature and the ocean, brought me to Cape Town, where I became a fashion stylist for international and local shoots. All these years living and working in both worlds have shaped my eye for quality and style.
Today, my inspiration comes from the vibrant spirit of Africa. A deep love for traveling and exploring this continent's incredible landscapes infuses everything I create. My work blends the precision of my European roots with the bold, beautiful colors of my African home.
A Story in Color
Color is my inspiration—the language of my work, the soul of every collection, and the unique signature of every piece I create. Color is what defines my products as a one of one.
I believe in the power of color—to shift a mood, define a look, and express a personality. For me, the most vibrant stories are told in the colors of Africa. I find my palette in the bright, bold tones of a buzzing market, the ever-changing shades of the ocean in all weathers, the raw earth of the bush, and the deepest blue of an endless sky.

Wearable Art
Fabric is my medium. A lifetime spent with textiles has taught me that quality is expressed through natural fibers. They offer a more comfortable, beautiful, and luxurious feel while being kind to our planet.
I select each textile with the same care I put into making every product. As a firm believer in the anti-mass production movement, I am committed to the art of slow fashion.
Each piece is handmade by me in my Woodstock studio, resulting in one-of-a-kind creations or very small, exclusive collections. When you own an Anna-Tina Original, you own a unique piece of art.
